Biography

Samantha Catron is a fine arts painter currently based in Los Angeles, California. Rooted in Cubist-Surrealism, her paintings reimagine time and space, offering a cross-reference between dreams, déjà vu, and timelessness. Working primarily with acrylic, gouache, and oil paint, her figurative compositions invite viewers to explore the elusive landscape of the psyche, where polarity and contradiction shape a delicate balance of extremes.

A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with degrees in International Relations and Religious Studies, Samantha emphasizes how diverse ideas and paradigms inform her art. She explores shifts in perspective through dimension and form, intertwining philosophy, spirituality, and aesthetics to challenge conventional narratives.
